Most of you have likely come across the advertisements on social media. Travel companies are presenting remarkably low-priced group travel packages to China that seem almost too good to be true. The prices are so low that you might doubt their legitimacy and wonder if it's a scam. Will you be lodged in a one-star hotel? Sleeping in a tent? Or perhaps flying with a lesser-known airline?

For under $1,000 per person, these tours offer international flights, nine nights of accommodation, transfers, daily breakfast, an English-speaking tour guide, and eleven days of immersive touring through China's rich history and culture. How can this be possible? Is it legitimate?

Well, I'm here to tell you that they are indeed real, and they offer an array of exceptional options that cater to various travel preferences and interests. Our recent experience with the ever-growing TripADeal China Discovery Package was nothing short of remarkable. This package is designed to provide travellers with a comprehensive exploration of China's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant cities.

Firstly, TripADeal is owned by Qantas, ensuring a strong support network and providing reassurance that this is a reliable and established company.

Secondly, these trips receive financial support from the Chinese Government. Their purpose is to promote China as a travel destination and to highlight its cultural diversity.

From the moment we booked the package, we were impressed by the level of detail and care that went into the itinerary. The TripADeal team has meticulously crafted this experience to include not only the must-see landmarks but also hidden gems that many tourists might overlook. The package typically covers iconic destinations such as the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, and other options include the Terracotta Warriors, allowing travellers to immerse themselves in the historical significance of these sites.

Moreover, the package includes guided tours led by knowledgeable local experts who provide fascinating insights into the history and culture of each location. This added layer of understanding enhances the overall experience, making it much more enriching than simply visiting these sites on our own. We were able to learn about the ancient dynasties that shaped China, the philosophies that influenced its culture, and the stories behind the stunning architecture we encountered.

In addition to the historical sites, the TripADeal China Discovery Package also offers opportunities to experience the local cuisine, which is an integral part of Chinese culture. We had the chance to savour authentic dishes, such as the famous Peking duck in Beijing and we were fortunate to visit a local family, for a traditional home cooked meal. Each meal was not only delicious but also a reflection of the diverse culinary traditions that vary from region to region.

Travelling through China with this package also provided us with the chance to interact with the locals, which was a highlight of our trip. Engaging with residents allowed us to gain a deeper appreciation for their way of life, customs, and traditions.

Furthermore, the logistics of the trip were expertly handled by TripADeal, which alleviated any stress related to transportation and accommodation. The package included comfortable 4 star hotel stays. The transportation between destinations was seamless, with well-organised transfers that allowed us to relax and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Overall, the TripADeal China Discovery Package exceeded our expectations in every way. It offered a well-rounded experience that balanced sightseeing, cultural immersion, and culinary delights, all while being supported by a team dedicated to ensuring our journey was smooth and enjoyable. For anyone considering a trip to China, I wholeheartedly recommend exploring the options available through TripADeal, as they truly provide an exceptional travel experience.

NOTE: These tours require a certain level of fitness. While they are well-organized, some parts involve walking long distances or climbing steep stairs. However, this shouldn't discourage you from going on the trip. With my lower-back injury, I couldn't access certain areas of the Great Wall of China due to the steep stairs, but I still enjoyed the historic site from a lower section.
